The h-index aims to quantify the productivity and impact of researchers according to the level of citation of their publications. The hm-index is more precise and takes into account the number of co-authors as well as the order of the co-authors in a publication. The first author of a publication being the main contributor.
Professors John P.A Ioannidis (Stanford University), Jeroen Baas ( Elsevier B.V.) Richard Klavans et Kevin W. Boyack (SciTech Strategies) used these two indices as a basis for a study to establish a database of scientific authors. They showed that of all the authors active over the past five years, Professor Constantin Zopounidis ranks among the most productive and best cited authors in the world. This applies to any field of research: medicine, physics, social sciences, etc. The article resulting from this work has already been viewed more than 70k times since its publication.
As a reminder, Professor Constantin Zopounidis is a Professor at Audencia as International Affiliate Faculty (IAF) and works regularly in collaboration with Audencia’s researchers.
