Research & Business Center

Created in 2014, the Research & Business Center is the academic management team whose mission is to promote the expertise of Audencia's faculty members beyond the academic community, in particular to companies and civil society. An ambition born from the realization that it is necessary to put academic expertise back at the center of debates in order to make decisions based on solid scientific and ethical foundations.

In fact, the world in general and organizations in particular are experiencing many changes. These transformations are ecological, technological, legal, but also political, sociological and economic. They mark the emergence of a new society and new challenges for businesses.

In such a context, it is necessary to have experts who are able to approach the issues in a pragmatic, informed and reflexive way, in order to propose concrete courses of action that will enable us to face the unprecedented challenges we are facing today. The productions proposed in the Research & Business Center are the result of close dialogue between educators-researchers in charge of studies, business stakeholders, students, qualified personalities as well as members of civil society.

It's also about rethinking the forms in which academic expertise can be presented in order to increase its dissemination, understanding and impact. The challenge is to make academic expertise not only accessible but also concretely mobilizable by all non-academic stakeholders.

To this end, the Research & Business Center is developing various initiatives, which may take the form of chairs or action research programs (ad hoc programs).

Audencia Chairs

At the heart of the new Ecos2025 strategic plan, Audencia wants to be a player in the green transformation of individuals, organizations and society. Therefore, the school intends to contribute to the ecological and social transition through its various activities. In this respect, the Chairs are particularly fruitful instruments to contribute to this ambition.

From academic expertise to real-world application

Financed by sponsorship, a professorship is always of general interest. It is a center designed to promote a discipline or new knowledge through the development of research and teaching on a specific topic. By promoting the transfer of knowledge, it positions itself as an interface for the creation of synergies between the expertise of educators-researchers, partner companies and the socio-economic world of the relevant field of application.

A variety of stakeholders

Genuine crossroads for reflection and action, the Chairs allow a multitude of actors to come together over time around common projects. Confronting perspectives in a logic of hybridization and gathering energies to act together, they address the complexity of contemporary issues and have a truly transformative effect.

The Chairs operate within a logic of impact. The initiatives presented on the pages of the different chairs give an insight into the diversity of the means of action used.

The following is a non-exhaustive list of possible productions. This diversity makes it possible to impact the different communities of the school's ecosystem and partners by creating useful knowledge that is disseminated in the most appropriate formats. It is these different characteristics that make up the identity and strength of Audencia's systems.
